Vintage from the 1950s. Carl Erickson (1899-1966) was an artist who designed glass in Bremen, Ohio. He founded Erickson Glass Works with his brother in 1943. Erickson's glass is known for its controlled bubbles and hand-blown quality.
Carl Erickson's (1899-1966) artistic creations were designed in many forms, sizes and colors. One of his characteristic used was the bubble design for bases as seen in the photo. Most were clear bases but some colors are known. Erickson glass was hand-formed so no two pieces could be alike.
