The purpose of the organization is to operate a thrift shop, the proceeds of which
shall provide financial assistance to Lopez non-profit organizations that

Community Impact
All money earned by the Thrift Shop is returned to the Lopez community through purchase of local services, grants made to Lopez non-profit organizations, and scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors.

Lopez Island Graduating Seniors May Apply for Lopez Thrift Shop Scholarship
The Lopez Thrift Shop is offering two scholarships in the amount of $1,500 for each of two Lopez Island graduating high school seniors. The applicant must be a Lopez resident planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or technical school. The scholarship must be used during the academic year 2022/2023. This award is open to all fields of study. An application is attached.
The deadline to submit the Scholarship Application is noon, Saturday April 30, 2022.
