Mission Statement
The purpose of the organization is to operate a thrift shop, the proceeds of which shall provide financial assistance to Lopez non-profit organizations that meet the criteria established by the Thrift Shop Board of Directors.
Lopez Thrift Shop Gives Back
Lopez Thrift Shop is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. We receive pre-owned items from our community, which our volunteers sort, inspect, restore, and renovate before being priced to value and displayed for purchase. After paying expenses, (including taxes), all proceeds from sales are donated to other Lopez Island non-profit organizations and Lopez high school senior scholarships.
Over the years, the Lopez Thrift Shop has touched the lives of many Lopezians. Many Lopez organizations can trace part of their present success to funding and program support provided by the Thrift Shop during their early years.
